Post-Publication Discussion
Post-Publication Discussion
Jurnal Kesehatan Mesencephalon welcomes scholarly discussion of its published articles. Post-publication discussion is a valuable part of the scientific process: it allows readers to raise questions, offer alternative interpretations, and point out errors, thereby strengthening the reliability of the published record.
Submitting Comments
Readers may submit written comments, critiques, or additional scientific perspectives on published articles in the form of letters to the editor. Comments should be sent by email to the editor. Submissions must be substantive and focused on scientific argumentation.
Moderation
All submitted comments are moderated by the editor before publication. The editor may edit comments for clarity, length, and tone, and may decline comments that are irrelevant, defamatory, or lacking scientific merit.
Author Response
The authors of the article under discussion are given the opportunity to respond to the comments. The comments and the authors' responses may be published together so that both sides of the discussion are represented.
Publication of the Discussion
Substantive exchanges arising from post-publication discussion may be published on the journal website and linked to the original article, so that readers can follow the debate alongside the work it concerns.
Standards of Conduct
Courteous language and scientific argumentation are required in all discussion. Comments containing personal attacks, harassment, or unsubstantiated claims will not be published.
