Electronic Archiving

Electronic Archiving

Jurnal Kesehatan Mesencephalon is committed to the long-term preservation and continuous availability of all content it publishes. Every article, issue, and supporting file is archived electronically as part of the journal's permanent scholarly record.

Preservation Networks

The journal archives its content through preservation networks, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system. These distributed networks store multiple independent copies of the journal's content at participating libraries and archives worldwide, so that the content remains available to readers even if the journal's own website becomes temporarily or permanently inaccessible.

Publisher Backups

In addition to network-based preservation, the publisher, Universitas Kepanjen, maintains regular backup copies of all published files and metadata as part of its institutional archiving policy.

Self-Archiving by Authors

Authors are permitted to self-archive their work in accordance with the journal's open access license. They may deposit both the preprint (the version of the manuscript prior to peer review) and the published version of their article in personal websites, institutional repositories, or subject repositories. When archiving the published version, authors should include the full citation of the article and a link to the article's page on the journal website.

This archiving policy ensures that the scholarly content published in Jurnal Kesehatan Mesencephalon remains permanently accessible to the research community.
