KORELASI ANTARA BEBAN KELUARGA DENGAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI KELUARGA PADA PENDERITA SKIZOFRENIA

Abstract : Schizophrenia is one of the diseases that are chronic. Approximately 40% -90% of people with schizophrenia live with their family, So the family to be part of the most responsible for the condition or the treatment in patients. In providing care to the patient, a lot of experience perceived them is the perceived burden of the family. One aspect of the care provided in schizophrenics is to conduct an effective and efficient communication in order to improve the quality of the care provided. The purpose of this study was to determine the Family Burden Correlates With Family Communication Capabilities In Schizophrenia Patients District of Bantur Bantur In the village of Malang. The study design using correlative, with sampling using purposive sampling technique. A number of research subjects 14. Based on test results obtained with Lamda p value of <0.05, which means that there is a correlation between Family Burden With Family Communication Skill In Patients with Schizophrenia. The conclusion of this study is experienced and perceived burden of families in caring for patients with schizophrenia have a positive correlation to the family skills when interacting with patients. Suggestions in this research is done psychoeducation program to be used to help families cope with the perceived burden of caring for family members with schizophrenia.

Abstrak : Skizofrenia merupakan salah satu jenis penyakit yang bersifat kronis. Sekitar 40%-90% penderita skizofrenia tinggal dengan keluarga Sehingga keluarga menjadi bagian yang paling bertanggung jawab terhadap kondisi ataupun perawatan pada penderita. Dalam memberikan perawatan pada penderita, banyak pengalaman yang dirasakan diantaranya adalah beban yang dirasakan keluarga. Salah satu aspek perawatan yang diberikan pada penderita skizofrenia adalah melakukan komunikasi yang efektif dan efisien guna meningkatkan kualitas perawatan yang diberikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Korelasi Antara Beban Keluarga Dengan Kemampuan Komunikasi Keluarga Pada Penderita Skizofrenia Di Desa Bantur Kecamatan Bantur Kabupaten Malang. Desain penelitian menggunakan korelatif, dengan teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah subyek penelitian sejumlah 14. Berdasarkan hasil uji dengan Lamda didapatkan nilai p value< 0.05 yang berarti bahwa terdapat Korelasi Antara Family Burden Dengan Communication Skill Keluarga Pada Penderita Skizofrenia. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah beban yang dialami dan dirasakan keluarga dalam merawat penderita dengan skizofrenia memiliki korelasi yang positif terhadap keterampilan keluarga pada saat beinteraksi dengan penderita. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah dilakukannya Program psikoedukasi untuk diterapkan guna membantu keluarga dalam mengatasi beban yang dirasakan dalam merawat anggota keluarga dengan skizofrenia.
