HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN KELUARGA DENGAN TINDAKAN PENCEGAHAN PENULARAN TB PARU DI KLINIK PARU RSUD KANJURUHAN KABUPATEN MALANG

TB paru adalah penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh kuman Mycobacterium tuberculosis, yang ditularkan melalui udara saat pasien batuk atau bersin. Keluarga yang tinggal serumah dengan pasien TB memiliki resiko lebih besar tertular TB karena keluarga kontak langsung dengan pasien TB. Salah satu penyebab terjadinya penularan adalah perilaku pasien atau keluarga seperti tidak menggunakan masker dan pasien saat batuk atau bersin tidak menutup mulut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan keluarga dengan tindakan pencegahan penularan TB paru di Klinik Paru RSUD Kanjuruhan Kabupaten Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan dan tindakan pencegahan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 22 sampel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi. Hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa sebagian besar pengetahuan keluarga berkategori baik (54,6%), dan sebagian besar responden melakukan tindakan pencegahan penularan TB kategori baik (63,7%) sedangkan hasil uji korelasi Spearman Rank diperoleh nilai p-value = 0,000 (p<0,05) dan r = 0,744 yang berarti adanya hubungan yang bermakna kuat. Pengetahuan berkaitan erat dengan terbentuknya tindakan karena dengan pengetahuan yang baik memotivasi keluarga untuk melakukan tindakan pencegahan penularan TB paru sehingga diharapkan tenaga kesehatan lebih banyak memberikan edukasi kepada pasien dan keluarga.References
