Author Guidelines
JOURNEY: Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Excellence welcomes original research articles, review articles, and conceptual papers in the fields of tourism and hospitality. Authors are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure consistency and quality of submissions.
Manuscripts must be written in clear and academic English and submitted in Microsoft Word format. The length of the manuscript is generally between 4,000–8,000 words, including tables, figures, and references.
The manuscript structure should include: Title, Author(s) Name, Affiliation, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review, Research Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References. The abstract should be written in a single paragraph and followed by 3–5 keywords.
References must follow a consistent citation style, preferably APA style (latest edition). All references cited in the text must be listed in the reference section, and vice versa.
Tables and figures must be clearly numbered, titled, and cited in the text. Any images used must be of high quality and free from copyright issues.
Authors must ensure that manuscripts are original and free from plagiarism. Simultaneous submission to other journals is not allowed. Authors must also disclose any conflicts of interest.
All submissions will undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process. The editorial team reserves the right to accept, request revisions, or reject manuscripts based on reviewer recommendations and journal standards.
The journal is published biannually in January and June.
