All manuscripts submitted to Entrepreneur Insight Journal: Business and Innovation undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, relevance, and academic contribution of the published articles. The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of scholarly publishing through a fair, objective, and transparent review process.

Initial Editorial Review

Upon submission, each manuscript is evaluated by the editorial team to determine its suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, compliance with author guidelines, originality, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before entering the peer-review stage.

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The journal applies a Double-Blind Peer Review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an unbiased evaluation.

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on several criteria, including:

  • Originality and novelty of the research.
  • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope.
  • Clarity of objectives and research questions.
  • Appropriateness of research methodology.
  • Quality of analysis and discussion.
  • Validity of conclusions.
  • Adequacy of references and literature review.
  • Overall contribution to knowledge and practice.

Reviewers’ Recommendations

Based on the evaluation, reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision.
  • Accept with minor revisions.
  • Accept with major revisions.
  • Reject.

The editor considers the reviewers’ comments and recommendations before making a final decision regarding the manuscript.

Revision Process

Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ comments. Revised manuscripts should be resubmitted within the timeframe specified by the editorial team and accompanied by a response explaining how the comments have been addressed.

Final Decision

The final decision to accept or reject a manuscript for publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the quality of the revised manuscript, and the journal’s editorial standards.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts and review reports are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not disclose, discuss, or use any information contained in the manuscript for personal advantage or purposes unrelated to the review process.

Publication Ethics

The peer-review process is conducted in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policy. Editors and reviewers are expected to perform their responsibilities objectively, fairly, and without conflicts of interest to ensure the integrity of the scholarly publication process.
