Author Guidelines
Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to CJOSH: Cakrawala Journal of Occupational Safety and Health are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure consistency, quality, and integrity in the publication process.
Manuscript Preparation
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal or publication.
- Manuscripts should be written in clear and academic English.
- The manuscript should be prepared using Microsoft Word format.
- The recommended manuscript length is between 4,000–8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
- Authors must ensure that the manuscript follows the journal template and formatting requirements.
Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should be organized in the following order:
- Title
- Author(s) Name and Affiliation
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Literature Review (if applicable)
- Research Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgments (optional)
- References
Title
- The title should be concise, informative, and reflect the content of the manuscript.
- Avoid abbreviations and unnecessary words.
- The title should clearly indicate the main topic of the study.
Author Information
- Include the full name of each author.
- Provide institutional affiliation, city, and country.
- Include the corresponding author’s email address.
Abstract and Keywords
- The abstract should be written in English.
- The abstract should briefly describe the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study.
- The abstract should contain 150–250 words.
- Provide 3–5 keywords relevant to the manuscript.
References
- References should be relevant, current, and derived primarily from scholarly sources.
- Authors are encouraged to cite recent journal articles published within the last ten years.
- All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
- References should follow the APA (American Psychological Association) Style.
Tables and Figures
- Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively.
- Each table and figure should include a clear title and source where applicable.
- Authors must ensure that all tables and figures are cited within the manuscript.
Citation and Reference Management
- Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
- Citations and references must be formatted consistently according to APA Style.
Ethical Considerations
Authors must ensure that:
- The manuscript is free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and other forms of academic misconduct.
- All sources are appropriately cited and acknowledged.
- Any potential conflicts of interest are disclosed.
- Research involving human participants complies with applicable ethical standards and regulations.
Submission Process
- Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system.
- Authors should complete all required metadata during the submission process.
- Incomplete submissions may be returned for correction before entering the review process.
Review Process
- All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening.
- Manuscripts that meet the journal requirements will proceed to the peer-review process.
- Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ and editors’ comments.
- The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
Copyright
- Authors retain responsibility for the content of their published work.
- By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they have the legal right to publish all materials included in the manuscript and that the work does not violate any copyright or intellectual property rights.
Final Note
Authors are encouraged to carefully review their manuscripts for language quality, formatting accuracy, completeness of references, and compliance with these guidelines before submission. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal requirements may be returned for revision prior to peer review.

- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
