PENGARUH KEGEL EXERCISE TERHADAP DISFUNGSI EREKSI KLIEN POST TURP

Disfungsi ereksi adalah komplikasi ikutan yang sering timbul setelah tindakan TURP. Klien post TURP sering mengungkapkan keluhan mengalami penurunan fungsi ereksi. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis efektifitas kegel exercise terhadap disfungsi ereksi klien post TURP. Desain penelitian adalah Quasi Eksperimen. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 64 orang, dengan tehnik systematic random sampling (32 kelompok intervensi, 32 kelompok kontrol). Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner IIEF-5 untuk mengukur disfungsi ereksi. Analisis data menggunakan uji Paired t-testdan Independen t-test dengan taraf signifikasi ?<0.05. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji Paired t-test menunjukkan kegel exercise meningkatkan fungsi ereksi pada klien post TURP (p=0,000). Hasil analisis dengan uji Independent t-test didapatkan p=0,000, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan skor fungsi ereksi antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrol setelah kegel exercise.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kegel exercise efektif meningkatkan fungsi ereksi pada klien post TURP.Oleh karena itu, kegel exercise sebaiknya digunakan sebagai intervensi pelengkap untuk mengurangi komplikasi akibat tindakan TURP.References
